SINGAPORE, 20 November 2014 - YCH Group was awarded the “Overall Supply Chain Partner of the Year” at the Supply Chain Asia Awards in recognition of the firm's accomplished symbiotic regional partnerships with industry stakeholders. YCH Group's win at the 13th instalment of the award ceremony that was held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, was celebrated alongside other industry leaders who have kept relevant and focused in the dynamic and ever-evolving SCM landscape, as well as displayed innovativeness in providing logistics and supply chain solutions.
YCH Group has been a major industry player in creating a conducive environment for both established firms and aspiring growth companies to collaborate. New partnerships with key customers in e-Commerce as well as recent set-ups for regional consumer and automotive customers in growth markets like China and Vietnam reinforced YCH Group's commitment to reassuring local and regional alliances of the group's top-line effectiveness and supply chain excellence.

In addition, YCH was also recognized with the ‘Supply Chain Security’ award at the event, which saw other finalists being DHL, DB Schenker, CEVA Logistics and Toll Group. All finalists must have the minimum TAPA Class ‘A’ certification in place, representing the highest level of security for facilities and warehouses used for storing and transportation of goods. Certification from TAPA, which is short for Transported Asset Protection Association, signifies that the particular supply chain provider is able to meet the stringent requirements and achieve a neutral audit seal for companies in the high tech industry.
