YCH "RISE"-and-Shines at Singapore Business Awards 2011

Singapore, 8 April 2011 - Leading Singapore-based logistics and supply chain management (SCM) company YCH Group has been awarded the 'Enterprise of the Year' Award for 2010 at the Singapore Business Awards (SBA) 2011. YCH received the honour at The Ritz Carlton, Millennia during the Awards' presentation dinner last evening.
The Enterprise Award is a major recognition from the Singapore business community towards YCH's tremendous growth over the past 56 years. Since its establishment as a humble passenger transportation company, YCH has never stopped 'innovating to survive' - a deeply-rooted notion that steers the company to continuously break new SCM frontiers in its journey of growth and evolution.

YCH stood out from the competition this year when evaluated against the Award's four key judging criteria of Innovation, Financial performance/Productivity, Company management and Contribution to the Community. In particular, YCH shone in the areas of displaying outstanding productivity through its continuous development of innovation initiatives, as well as rigorous penetration of overseas markets throughout the year 2010. The distinguished panel of judges, comprising several eminent business, government and academic leaders, named YCH the winner "for its innovativeness, enterprise and far-sightedness in seizing opportunities to transform itself into one of Asia's leading integrated logistics and supply chain management companies."

In its growth and expansion strategy, YCH embraces the Chinese philosophy of
