Hanoi, 13 September 2024 – YCH Group, Southeast Asia’s leading supply chain management company, has joined other Singapore businesses to support the victims of Typhoon Yagi through the “SG Community Cares” initiative. The storm, one of the most severe to hit Vietnam in decades, has caused widespread devastation, claiming lives and displacing many across Northern Vietnam. In partnership with the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam, YCH Group and other companies have pledged 1.5 billion VND to support relief and recovery efforts.
His Excellency Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam, said, “I am very proud to see Singapore businesses come together to lend support to Vietnam in such a meaningful way. Typhoon Yagi has had a devastating impact on so many lives across Northern Vietnam. Singapore stands in solidarity with our friends in Vietnam at a difficult time for them.”
