Leading the Digital Rush @ Startup Summit 2016

Startup Summit is an annual conference that brings entrepreneurs, government agencies, investors and business leaders under one roof to discuss about future trends in the industry. James Ong, Head of Corporate Finance at YCH Group and Partner at SCAngels, shared about leading the digital rush and the importance of leveraging on emerging opportunities.

James also shared how YCH is supporting the burgeoning start-up ecosystem in Singapore with the launch of SCAngels to help create unicorns within the supply chain industry, the development of Supply Chain City, and riding on trends such as the IoT, Big Data, Robotics and the Uberisation of Logistics.

Credit Suisse’s Entrepreneur Connect was held at Gardens By The Bay and it is a forum that brings together accomplished and next-generation business leaders, advisors, mentors and entrepreneurs for a one-day discussion on key aspects of Entrepreneurship and Business Development.

Dr Robert Yap was part of the opening panel with Richard Eu, CEO of Eu Yan Sang International, Mark Lee, CEO of Sing Lun Holdings, and Francesco de Ferrari, Head of Private Banking Asia-Pacific at Credit Suisse. The panelists held a fruitful discussion led by moderator, Professor Annie Koh of SMU on innovative platforms which successful businesses can build on to remain at the forefront and stay ahead of competitors.
