Despite a slowdown in China’s economy and growth, the Chinese economy remains the largest contributor to the global economy, and an important market for YCH Group. We were honoured to host various delegations from China visiting Singapore for study trips.

Tianjin Commission of Commerce
Led by Mr Xu Feng Cheng, Director of Tianjin Commission of Commerce, a group of CEOs from some of Tianjin’s most famous international companies visited YCH in June this year.

They were hosted by Mr Michael Leong, VP of Sales and Mr Jimmy Ng, Head of Cold Chain. After an introduction to the group’s growth and experience in logistics management, the delegation gained deeper insights on YCH and our operations.

Delegation from Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone
Hosted by Dr Yap Chih Nam, GM of Y3 Technologies, a delegation from the respective divisions of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone visited our headquarters on 23rd of September. The delegation was led by Mr Zhang Yinzhong, Deputy Director of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Management Committee Bonded Area Administration Bureau.

Visit from Chongqing Delegates - Modern Connectivity and Modern Services
Between 12 and 23 September 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Civil Service College (CSC) organised a study visit for a delegation group from Chongqing. The study visit aimed to share Singapore’s experience in four priority areas including logistics and transport.

Led by Director-General Mr Han Baochang of the Administrative Bureau of China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative, the delegation visited YCH ChemPark & Supply Chain City to learn more about local logistics operations. They were hosted by Mr Dave Lim, CEO of YCH China, Mr Kwek Hwai Wee, GM of YCH Chengdu and Dr Yap Chih Nam, GM of Y3 Technologies.
