The Executive Secretary of National Transport Workers’ Union (NTWU), Mr Melvin Yong, visited our premises on 3 October to gain insights on day-to-day activities and engage with Prime Mover drivers.
He was accompanied by Mr Mohd Jonid, a veteran driver at YCH. Through the visit, Mr Melvin Yong gained first-hand experience and better understanding on some everyday challenges faced by Prime Mover drivers.
The YCH60 logo is formed by the number ‘6’ and shi ‘十’, ten in Chinese, making up sixty, signifying six decades of supply chain excellence.
The shadow of the combination represents the Chinese character sheng ‘升’ or RISE, YCH’s corporate philosophy.
The combination also resembles ye ‘叶’, the first character of our Chinese company name ‘叶水福’.
