As China continues to grow to become the largest market in Asia, we were honoured to host various groups of delegates from China. The visits offers opportunities for us to exchange business ideas with Chinese delegates, allowing us to understand the overseas market and further strengthen our bilateral ties.

Port Services Office of Tianjin Municipal People Delegates visit YCH
On 28 November 2016, 7 delegates from the Port Services Office of Tianjin Municipal People visited YCH to learn more about our operations and Singapore’s supply chain industry.

The delegates were given a tour of Supply Chain City, where they managed to get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes of a day in YCH, as well as facilities within the logistics hub. They showed great interest in YCH, and even discussed potential collaborations.

Delegation from Guangdong province visit YCH
We welcomed members of senior management of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) from Guangdong Province while on a 13-day study visit organised by Civil Service College (CSC). The theme of the study visit was “Innovative Enterprise Management”, aimed at improving operational efficiency and innovation.

The delegation of 25, led by Deputy Director Cai Xiufen, was here under the auspice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegates attended a tour where they learnt more about our history and operations. YCHees also exchanged insightful discussions on economic landscapes and potential business opportunities with the Chinese delegates, leaving with a greater understanding of the Chinese business world.
