Strengthening Logistics Collaboration in Tay Ninh Province

Tay Ninh, Vietnam – February 19, 2025 – YCH Group’s Executive Chairman, Dr Robert Yap, and CEO of Vietnam SuperPort™, Dr Yap Kwong Weng, led a delegation in discussions with Tay Ninh Provincial Government officials, including Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Mr Nguyen Hong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. The meeting provided a platform to explore opportunities for collaboration in strengthening logistics efficiencies, sustainable urban planning, and workforce development to support Vietnam’s long-term economic growth.

The discussions focused on how strategic infrastructure improvements could enhance trade connectivity and streamline cross-border logistics. With Vietnam’s growing role in regional supply chains, both parties exchanged views on optimising transport networks, integrating technology to improve logistics performance, and ensuring seamless cargo flows between key trade routes.

Sustainability was another major focus, with an emphasis on adopting green logistics solutions that align with Vietnam’s net-zero ambitions. The conversation covered initiatives to reduce emissions across supply chain operations, promote energy-efficient logistics facilities, and explore alternative transport solutions that balance economic and environmental priorities.

Workforce development and training initiatives were also discussed as a priority in building a highly skilled logistics sector. As Vietnam’s logistics landscape evolves, investing in talent development through targeted training programmes and industry partnerships was recognised as essential to strengthening long-term capabilities.

With a shared commitment to advancing Vietnam’s logistics sector, the discussions reinforced the importance of collaboration in shaping a more connected, efficient, and sustainable trade environment.
