As we draw close to the end of the year, here are some of the happenings around the region!

In collaboration with Bekasi Red Cross Organization, YCH Indonesia organised a Blood Donation Drive on August 10th where our YCHees in Indonesia contributed more than 60 bags of blood for a good cause.

The Independence Day of India is observed annually on 15 August, commemorating the nation's independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947. The National Holiday was celebrated by YCHees across India with the traditional flag hoist.

YCH Chennai and Bangalore also organised their annual Family Day on 22nd and 30th August respectively. YCHees and their families bonded together through games and activities.

On 22nd September, YCHees at YCH Malaysia celebrated their Country General Manager, Mr Shanmugam Suppiah’s birthday. Also celebrating his tenth year in YCH, Mr Shan encouraged everyone to work together as a team to elevate the company to the next level. Happy Birthday Shan!

Our regional HR colleagues joined us for a 3-days HR meeting at YCH ChemPark from 14th to 16th September. Other than attending workshops such as Succession Planning and Performance Management Tools, the team had a session with Executive Chairman, Dr Robert Yap where he shared on the directions of the company and the importance of talent management in the different countries.
