YCH welcomed industry partners, government ministries, foreign dignitaries and long serving employees on the 22nd of October for the YCH 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Resorts World Sentosa. The Guest-of-Honour for the evening was Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

The evening began with a welcome speech from Dr Robert Yap, Executive Chairman of YCH Group, who announced an initiative to train 600 graduates and mid-career professionals over the next three years through the establishment of a state of the art supply chain academy within Supply Chain City™.

Guests at the joyous anniversary dinner were entertained with a variety of customised performances, ranging from an exhilarating opening drum act to an elegant sand art presentation of our YCH presence in Asia Pacific by local renowned sand artist,
Ms Tan Sock Fong.

The evening culminated when a flying drone entered the event hall, followed by an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) delivering
the main course to the VIP table. These would be some of the technologies featured within Supply Chain City™ and YCH’s new corporate HQ.

Capping off the evening, Dr Robert Yap led the management team in an uplifting presentation of the YCH Theme Song, ‘Just a Handshake’ during the finale performance, ending the night with a bang!
